Bayley's Campground, Scarborough, ME

This past weekend my family and I stayed at Bayley's Campground,
Located in Scarborough, Maine, minutes from Old Orchard Beach.

If you live in New England and love camping, this is the place for you!
The sites are clean and so are the bathrooms/showers!

They have three heated pools and at least four hot tubs!
They also have an arcade and a great playground for the kids.
There is a camp store near the office that sells anything you may need!
Also, a nice restaurant that has ice cream for those hot days!

This was my family's second visit to Bayley's Campground!
We stayed just last year in one of their cabins, which are beautiful and clean.
This past stay we brought along our pop up camper,
We found the camp site to be well kept and no noisy neighbors at night.

Bayley's is minutes from Funtown Splashtown as well!

We made a trip to Old Orchard Beach!
Which is located minutes from the campground!
The carnival was not open yet, because it's still early in the season.
But the beach and shops are definitely worth visiting.
The stores can be pricey in Old Orchard... That's the only downfall.

The area has beautiful scenery every where you look.
There is a walking trail that goes right over the marsh lands, down the road!
Also a couple great restaurants that feature steamers and lobsters!

If you are looking for a campground near the ocean that is nice,
Then you should look into staying at Bayley's Campground!

MiO Blueberry Lemonade

I just received my free sample of MiO Blueberry Lemonade in the mail!

I typically drink MiO Strawberry Watermelon and love it!
I find it very hard to drink the recommended amount of water each day,
Because I like to have some flavor in my drink!

MiO Liquid Water Enhancers definitely shake things up!

I tried the new MiO Blueberry Lemonade today!
It was tangy and fruity!
The blueberry flavor is very sweet and tasty, but the lemonade gives it a little kick!

As a person who already enjoys MiO...
I highly recommend trying all the flavors and finding your favorite!

Post Note I: This is not a paid post. These are my own opinions!

Post Note II: Like MiO on Facebook for a chance to receive some free samples or check out your local grocer for all the MiO and MiO Energy varieties.

Elizabeth's Dream Room

I have been working on a project for the move into the new apartment.
Elizabeth has little knowledge as to when or if we are moving...
So, I wanted to surprise her with a "dream room!"

Remember, Elizabeth is a 10 year old with a bold sense of style.
She loves bright colors! Her favorite colors are...
Purple, Lime Green, Teal and Hot Pink, in that order.

If it comes in purple, she loves it.
"When I get older, I am going to paint my house purple."
"I want a purple beetle!"
"It would be better in purple!"
She makes Mr. EM so crazy with the color purple, he now loathes the color.

Anyways, I decided to create a sort of mural on her new bedroom wall!
I had to find a design on Google search that matched her newly painted wall.
She likes the darker purple that is more on the blue side, instead of the red side.
Unfortunately, the darker purple on all the walls would make the room into a cave.
So, I painted only one of the walls the darker purple and the rest a lighter shade.

I chose to use the darker wall to paint the 'mural' on.
This is the design that I found...

Since I don't have a projector, I had to free hand this onto the wall.
I used Kaylee's chalk to sketch the design onto the wall...
Using chalk makes it easier to correct mistakes and redo them.
Also, by using chalk, after you finish painting the design, the lines 'template'
You used easily wipes away, unlike pencil.

The best thing about this design, is that the colors were exactly what I used!

So, this is the finished painting!

I admit it isn't perfect or exact, but I think she will like it just fine!
We are currently waiting on rugs, but it has to be right as we move...
Since the current resident, my mother, has dogs and Kaylee is allergic!

I will post more pictures as the room comes together more...

Where the heck have I been?

I must apologize, I am horribly horrible at sticking to journals and blogs!
Please bear with me! I am back and adding the blog page to my favorites,
So that it will help remind me to check in and update things!

So, just an update on the personal life events...

I know my last post said that Kaylee was just starting to walk...
But she is now an avid walker/runner!
She is a complete chatter box compared to most toddlers that I see,
Which is great, BUT we definitely have to watch what we say!!!

My family will soon be moving to a new apartment.
As it stands currently, Kaylee still sleeps in the upstairs hallway.
She is sleeping regularly in a toddler bed with a gate in front of the stairs.
In the new apartment, BOTH kids will have their own bedroom! YAY!

Also, Mr. EM and I are still engaged and still have no set plans for a wedding.
We are currently saving for a nice wedding. As I like to say...

Something Borrowed. Something Blue.
Something Old. Something New.
And A Whole Lot Of Green!
